It is very important that you
choose a real estate agent
that is experienced, listens to
your needs and is dedicated.

Ask me for a referral to an
excellent Realtor.
You know the old saying, "would you like my first born too?"

It may seem that way to you... but the best advice I can give
you is be prepared with your financial documentation because
your loan officer will need to see it all.
If you've been a little relaxed in the past about savings paystubs
or knowing where your W2's are, now is the time to get
organized.

Local Resources - Could Improve Your Bottom Line
Many cities offer special grants or assistance with closing costs to help first time
home buyers. Be proactive in seeking out any help that may be available to you,
research your local government or township online to find out if they do.

Credit & FICO Scores
I can't even stress this topic enough. It is true that higher FICO scores will save
you money on your loan costs, especially if you're considering conventional
financing.

FHA is more forgiving of lower credit scores but only to a point. And if your
credit profile is pretty thin, consider a co-borrower for your loan.
